Install SPLIT

Keep SPLIT on your home screen. You can also keep using the website—installation is optional.

iPhone and iPad

Open SPLIT in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Turn on Open as Web App if that option appears, then tap Add.

Android

Open SPLIT in Chrome. Use Install SPLIT when offered, or look for Install app or Add to home screen in the browser menu.

On your computer

Look for the install icon in your browser’s address bar or menu. Some browsers offer Add to Dock. If installation is unavailable, bookmark SPLIT and use the website.

Opening from a message or another app?

Use its menu to open the link in Safari or Chrome first. Installation may not be available inside another app’s browser. On your phone, use the hosted HTTPS website, not a computer’s localhost address.

Keep your saved links

History is saved in this browser/app, without cloud sync. Before changing browsers or installing, export a backup. If the installed app opens with separate history, use Restore backup to bring your saved links into it.

Keep your backup private: anyone with its bill links can view their details.

Offline and updates

Saved activity can be viewed offline after the app’s offline files are available. Reconnect to verify or make a payment. Updates preserve local history; resolve an earlier wallet attempt before using Update SPLIT.
